Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the team at Palo Duro Place Apartments, Amarillo, TX. This on-site role offers a Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm schedule with an on-call rotation.

You will manage work orders, coordinate turnovers, perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry, and oversee monthly budget analysis with the Property Manager. HVAC experience and EPA certification are required, CPO a plus; 4+ years in maintenance and

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assign work orders by priority.
• Turn and prepare units between tenant occupancy.
• Perform repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and HVAC.
• Analyze monthly budget with Property Manager.
• Maintain a consistent preventative maintenance program.
• Manage exterior structural maintenance and on-call coverage.
• Coordinate bids with third-party vendors.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, On-Call rotation 1 week every 4 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that work orders are being completed and assigned to team members based on priority
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy
• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC
• Monthly budget analysis with Property Manager
• Manage and maintain a consistent preventative maintenance program
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system
• Managing bids and planning major repairs from third party vendors

Requirements:

• HVAC experience required
• EPA certification required
• CPO certification a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years’ experience in the maintenance field
• 4+ year experience within the multi-family housing industry preferred
• Experience managing 1+ employees
• Drywall, painting, and carpentry experience
• Experience with light plumbing and electrical work
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process)
