LUMA Residential Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Service Assistant for Delray Apartments in Houston. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and making-readies to ensure residents have safe, comfortable homes.

A $1,000 hiring bonus is offered on the first full paycheck, with starting pay at $24.00 per hour. Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC and plumbing, boiler system upkeep, and maintaining pools and common areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience.
• Current EPA Certification required, with hands-on HVAC maintenance knowledge.
• Boiler system experience including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; valid driver’s license and own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and general building systems.
• Perform routine boiler maintenance to ensure safe operation.
• Complete apartment make-readies with repairs, painting, and quality inspections.
• Assist with pool maintenance and upkeep of common areas.
• Be on-call on a biweekly rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
