Job summary

Texas Inter-Faith Management/40i seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician to service our multifamily properties. The ideal candidate will perform general maintenance, respond to resident requests, and handle plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and carpentry tasks with attention to safety and quality.

HVAC certification is required. The role includes on-call shifts, potential overtime, and weekend availability to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming community for residents.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in apartment or multifamily settings.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and appliance repair.
• HVAC knowledge and EPA-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance throughout the property, including units and common areas.
• Respond to service requests within 24 hours.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, carpentry, and fixtures.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents (make-ready).
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Assist with on-call rotations and emergency maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
