Job summary

Texas Inter-Faith Management/40i is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for a multifamily property. The role emphasizes proactive upkeep, safety, and resident satisfaction; candidates should have HVAC certification and hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical work, drywall, painting, and appliance repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• HVAC certification required.
• Experience with apartment make-ready and unit turnover preferred.
• HVAC knowledge and EPA compliance understanding.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance across property including units and common areas.
• Respond to service requests within 24 hours.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents (make-ready/turnover).
• Maintain safety, building systems, and compliant OSHA practices.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and on-call rotation.
