Job summary

smcinternalcareers is seeking Leasing Professionals who act as brand ambassadors for our communities. They bring energy, compassion, and sales expertise to build relationships and drive move-ins.

You will manage the leasing cycle from initial contact to move-in, conduct move-in orientations, and support marketing efforts, while maintaining quality and service. This is an on-site role in Gaithersburg, MD with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing, sales, customer service, retail, or hospitality.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Yardi or property management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and build positive relationships with team, customers, and vendors.
• Manage the leasing process from first point of contact to move-in.
• Execute follow-up plan for future residents who do not rent on first visit.
• Meet or exceed traffic, applications, move-ins, wait lists, and conversion goals.
• Complete all leasing paperwork and processes per internal quality control processes.
• Inspect apartments and the community to ensure product quality.
• Conduct new resident move-in orientations.
• Conduct outreach marketing.
• Contribute to community/company engagement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
