Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Outstanding sales ability in a computerized environment.
• Preferred: One year of leasing experience highly preferred.
• Background checks and pre-employment drug testing are required.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments at optimum rent levels and keep vacancies to a minimum.
• Greet customers by standing and smiling.
• Convert walk-in prospects into secured leases and telephone/email inquiries into appointments.
• Screen applicants by reviewing credit reports, employment references, and rental references.
• Prepare leases and conduct move-in orientations.
• Maintain move-in and renewal lists, handle renewals, extensions, and notices.
• Promote resident programs and contribute to resident retention strategies.
