Job summary

Windward Long Point Apartments in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to show and lease apartments to prospective residents and assist with renewals, delivering courteous service to prospects and existing residents.

The role requires organization, strong marketing and sales skills, and experience with telephone sales. A valid driver’s license and computer skills are required, with knowledge of Yardi a plus. This is a full-time position with weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment industry experience preferred.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented with strong sales and customer service skills.
• Experience with telephone sales presentation.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Yardi software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet and qualify all prospective residents and obtain guest card information.
• Show models and units available for rent to prospects.
• Take rental applications and deposits, process approvals.
• Answer phone and Internet inquiries and follow up as needed.
• Assist in the lease renewal process and follow directions from the GM/AM.
• Open and secure models and show apartments daily; maintain the rental office.
• Walk the property daily to inspect rent-ready apartments and overall community condition.
