Job summary

Ludwig and Company is seeking a detail-oriented Leasing Consultant for a 230-unit apartment community in Chicago, IL. You will assist the Property Manager with leasing strategies, tours, prospect tracking, applications, and rent collections, while supporting community events and inspections.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of customer service/sales experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong organizational skills. Alternating Saturday hours are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service and sales experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 1 year apartment leasing preferred.
• Strong filing, computer and organization skills.
• Alternating Saturday hours are required.

Responsibilities

• Implement marketing and leasing strategies.
• Tour apartments with prospective tenants.
• Track leasing prospects.
• Answer phone and greet prospects.
• Complete lease applications and assist in verification of applications.
• Make recommendations related to leasing to enhance performance.
• Plan and oversee social programs and property-sponsored events for residents.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of bank deposits and record collections activity on property management software.
• Assist with rent collections striving for zero delinquencies each month.
• Assist with community inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.
