Job summary

Adara Communities in Texas is seeking an Apartment Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee the 384-unit Parkside Place community and coordinate maintenance operations.

You will lead maintenance staff, manage service requests, and coordinate make-readies and upgrades to ensure high-quality results for residents.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience as a maintenance technician in multifamily housing.
HVAC certification is required.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to coach, train, and lead service technicians.
Live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, and guide maintenance staff throughout daily operations.
Complete and oversee service requests to ensure timely, high-quality results.
Coordinate and assist with make-readies, upgrades, and maintenance schedules.
Ensure all work orders and unit turns are completed efficiently and accurately.
Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled.
Maintain organized inventory and ensure proper use of tools/equipment.
Support the Property Manager with various maintenance projects and initiatives.
Uphold community standards for safety, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction.

What We're Looking for in the Apartment Lead Maintenance Technician

Working Environment Of The Apartment Lead Maintenance Technician

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance. Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
