Job summary

Nationwide is seeking an Apartment Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Realty Investors team. The role covers plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC maintenance, painting, and grounds upkeep to ensure safe, comfortable facilities.

You will be part of a team that keeps buildings operational, responds to service requests, and supports a high standard of associate satisfaction. Typical duties include completing work orders, preparing units between tenants, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of related work experience.
• General knowledge of HVAC mechanical and life safety systems.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance service and repairs in a specialized technical and skilled trade for the organization's facilities.
• LANDSCAPE/DAY SERVICE TECHNICIAN: assists with landscape maintenance and snow removal as advised.
• STRUCTURAL: carpentry, masonry and painting functions as related to facility maintenance.
• ELECTRICAL: layout, installation, testing and repair of electrical distribution and wiring.
• HVAC & HVAC OPERATIONS: maintenance, service requests, testing and inspection of systems.
