Job summary

Nationwide is seeking an Apartment Facilities Maintenance Technician to service plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting and grounds maintenance across Realty Investors properties. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance and routine inspections to keep facilities safe and functional.

The role requires at least two years in a similar trade, a high school diploma, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of related maintenance experience.
• General knowledge of HVAC, life-safety systems; ability to troubleshoot and read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance service and repairs in facilities to keep systems operational and compliant.
• Assists in landscaping and day service tasks as needed.
• Contributes to carpentry, masonry, painting as related to facility upkeep.
• Participates in electrical distribution maintenance and safe operation of wiring systems.
• Supports HVAC maintenance, testing, and life safety systems inspection.
• Handles plumbing tasks and related mechanical systems as part of the team.
