Job summary

Beam Living seeks a Compliance Specialist for our New York City office to ensure NYC housing compliance, maintain building standards, and support a positive resident experience. You will inspect units, address resident concerns, reinforce policies, and interact daily with residents, staff, and tradespeople.

The role emphasizes field inspections, coordinating work orders, and delivering exceptional service in a multi-family environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of property management or hospitality experience required.
• Must be able to walk 3-5 miles daily on a large property.
• Strong communication and organizational skills demanded.
• Analytical ability to collect and use information to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and manage 20+ occupied apartments daily to identify maintenance issues and verify apartment data.
• Follow up on HPD complaints and violations for apartments and common spaces, guiding residents through work orders.
• Schedule and coordinate inspections, respond to resident questions and close service requests.
• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold community standards as a 'Good Neighbor'.
