Job summary

AvalonBay Communities, Inc. seeks a Sales and Service Supervisor to assist the Community Manager with sales and marketing strategies, ensure consistent, positive resident experiences, and coach leasing consultants to reach community goals.

You will apply leadership to create a best-in-class place to live and work, supporting move-ins, renewals, and service excellence while upholding fair housing and company policies.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of multifamily experience or related experience/education in a hotel, retail or restaurant environment.
• 1 or more years of supervisory or training experience required
• High school diploma or equivalency (GED) is required. Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficiency in using administrative software and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing community sales goals and coach leasing consultants to reach them.
• Lease apartment homes; manage and convert leads, present and inform residents about community information.
• Address and resolve customer service concerns promptly to boost loyalty and satisfaction.
• Help develop and monitor programs to maximize revenue and control expenses.
• Support residents through move-in, renewals, move-out, and transfers.
• Visit competitive communities to update market surveys and monitor market conditions.
• Plan and host resident events to build positive community ties.
• Follow AvalonBay policies and fair housing laws
