Job Description

The Property Manager, or Residential Property Manager, oversees the maintenance and upkeep of residential properties and tenant satisfaction. Responsibilities include scheduling routine maintenance, supervising staff, and enforcing rental agreements.

Job Duties

1. Collect rent and property fees from tenants and owners.
2. Pay property expenses such as taxes, mortgages, payroll, insurance, and maintenance.
3. Report financial status, occupancy, and lease expirations to property owners.
4. Meet potential tenants, show properties, and assess applications in compliance with anti-discrimination laws.
5. Advertise vacant properties and coordinate with leasing agents.
6. Inspect properties, arrange repairs, and manage ongoing service contracts.
7. Investigate and resolve property complaints and rental violations.

Job Qualifications

• Proficiency in property management software (preferably Yardi and/or One Site).
• Minimum of 2 years of apartment management experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
