Job summary

Apartner is seeking polished Leasing Consultants to support leasing, tours, and resident relations at apartment communities in the Jacksonville area. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, explain fees and apply processes, prepare leases, and keep updated on unit availability and promotions.

This role requires reliable transportation for off-site showings and strong communication. This is a full-time on-site position with opportunities to contribute to marketing efforts and achieve occupancy

Qualifications

• 1+ year leasing, sales, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; reliable and punctual.
• Proficiency with computers and property management/CRM software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for showings.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and highlight amenities.
• Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries promptly.
• Qualify prospects, explain lease terms, and assist with applications.
• Prepare and execute lease paperwork, renewals, and move-in documents.
• Maintain knowledge of unit availability, pricing, incentives, and promotions.
• Track leads in property management software such as Yardi or RealPage.
• Coordinate with maintenance and management to prepare units for move-in.
• Handle resident relations issues courteously and escalate as needed.
• Meet or exceed leasing and occupancy targets; report activity.
• Participate in community events, tours, and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and highlight amenities and floor plans
• Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries promptly and professionally
• Qualify prospects, explain lease terms, fees, and application requirements; assist with application process and approvals
• Prepare and execute lease paperwork, renewals, and move-in documentation accurately and timely
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of unit availability, pricing, incentives, and community promotions
• Follow up with prospects to convert leads and meet occupancy goals; track leads in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage)
• Coordinate with maintenance and management to ensure units are ready for move-in and resolve resident concerns
• Handle resident relations issues courteously; escalate maintenance or policy issues as needed
• Meet or exceed weekly/monthly leasing and occupancy targets and report activity to management
• Participate in community events, tours, and marketing initiatives (online listings, social media, open houses)
