Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is seeking a Payroll & HR Operations Manager to oversee payroll and HR operations across APAC, ensuring accurate processing, data integrity, and timely services.

The ideal candidate will partner with HR, Finance, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, manage employee lifecycle transactions, and uphold compliance while delivering a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Payroll, HR Operations, Shared Services, or HR Administration.
• 3+ years of people management experience, preferably across multiple countries.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and employee lifecycle administration.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Workday preferred).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of Payroll and HR Operations across APAC.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing per local laws and policies.
• Oversee employee lifecycle transactions (onboarding, transfers, promotions, data changes, offboarding).
• Maintain employee records and HR data integrity and confidentiality.
• Support benefits administration and coordinate with vendors.
• Meet operational KPIs and SLAs.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and service quality.
• Maintain SOPs and process documentation.
• Support HR system enhancements, testing, and implementation.
• Resolve complex payroll/HR issues escalated by employees and managers.
• Build relationships with HR, Finance, Legal, and business leaders.
• Lead, coach, and develop Payroll and HR Operations team members.
