Job summary

Rippling, Inc. is seeking an HR Advisor to support its Employer of Record (EOR) service across APAC. You will partner with customers to hire and manage employees across multiple countries, guiding them through onboarding to off-boarding while handling compliance and employee relations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR Advisory, consulting, or internal HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR practices in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Australia.
• Proven ability to quickly learn and apply HR practices in new countries.
• Professional working proficiency in English; additional regional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advisory support across multiple countries within a region, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and employment practices.
• Apply existing frameworks and SOPs to new countries, identifying gaps and escalating risks where needed.
• Draft and implement compliance-driven policies and SOPs across multiple jurisdictions, including leave management, performance management, investigations, terminations, and statutory processes.
• Manage complex employee relations issues across countries, including terminations, leave, and regulatory risk scenarios.
• Represent Rippling before relevant government authorities where required, including for labor reconciliation, statutory filings, and compliance-related matters.
• Partner with product, engineering, and compliance teams to configure and test workflows for hiring, onboarding, transitions, terminations, and statutory benefits across multiple countries.
• Respond to customer and employee inquiries across a range of countries, delivering accurate and timely guidance.
• Rapidly build expertise in new countries using internal documentation, training, and self-directed research.
• Design and refine scalable processes that support regional delivery and reduce country-specific dependencies.
• Serve as the designated Power of Attorney (POA) for relevant entities, including signing documentation and ensuring compliance with local requirements.
