Job summary

Vaco is hiring a temporary AP Specialist for a client in Milwaukee, WI. You will process vendor invoices, verify payments, and maintain vendor records to support accurate month-end closing.

The role requires attention to detail, independent work ethic, and strong communication with vendors and internal teams. Experience with Blackbaud and Excel is preferred, and a related degree is favored.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Previous accounts payable experience required.
• Experience with Blackbaud is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when identifying issues or process improvements.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities
