The Senior AP role offers leadership over a multi-property AP function and opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic service culture. The position entails supervising AP staff, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, vendor setup, 1099 tracking, and year-end

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years accounts payable experience.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Multi-property accounts payable experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the AP staff and lead by example.
• Be able to perform all phases of the AP process.
• Assist, research and investigate invoice discrepancies.
• Continuously evaluate, analyze and streamline AP processes.
• Ensure that internal policies and procedures are followed in AP.
• Review invoices for documentation, GL coding, and approval prior to payment.
• Process, batch and input vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and check requests.
• Set up new vendors and 1099 tracking.
• Assist with year-end 1099 reporting.
• Reconcile customer statements and maintain AP files.
• Assist team with researching outstanding bank reconciliation items.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
