Connect Search, LLC partnered with a growing healthcare organization in the Galleria area of Houston to hire an AP Supervisor. You will support the AP Manager, oversee the day-to-day AP function, and lead a high-volume team to maintain accuracy and timeliness in payments.

The role emphasizes people leadership, process optimization, and SOX-compliant controls in a centralized accounting environment. Target base pay is around $95K, with growth opportunities in a multi-location setting.

Qualifications

• Strong full-cycle AP experience with leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in a high-volume environment and familiarity with SOX controls.
• Ability to train, develop, and support AP team members.
• Experience overseeing vendor setup and payment processing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AP operations and ensure accurate invoice processing.
• Train, develop, and support AP team members to improve performance.
• Assist with employee performance reviews and team effectiveness.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoice and expense payments.
• Support SOX compliance and maintain internal controls.
• Manage vendor master maintenance and onboarding.
• Prepare and manage payment reports for stakeholders.
• Assist with internal and external audits and year-end processes.
