Job summary

The ideal candidate has prior AP experience, real estate accounting background is preferred, and familiarity with Yardi and electronic payments. This position offers a competitive base salary, plus bonus potential, and a collaborative finance

• Experience in accounts payable or related accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume invoice processing across multiple properties.
• Process approximately 500 invoices per month.
• Manage property-specific AP inboxes and route invoices accordingly.
• Perform three-way matching and review invoices for proper documentation and approvals.
• Process vendor payments primarily through ACH/electronic banking platforms.
• Monitor invoice deadlines to ensure expenses are processed for lender/investor draws.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies.
• Partner with accounting leadership and property teams to ensure timely AP processing.
• Assist with additional AP and accounting initiatives as needed.

AP Specialist Key Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume invoice processing across multiple properties
• Process approximately 500 invoices per month
• Manage property-specific AP inboxes and ensure invoices are routed and processed accurately
• Perform three-way matching and review invoices for proper documentation and approvals
• Process vendor payments primarily through ACH/electronic banking platforms

• Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies

AP Specialist Qualifications

• Prior accounts payable or related accounting experience
• Real estate/property accounting experience strongly preferred
• Yardi experience is a major plus
• Experience with high-volume invoice processing and electronic payments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Proactive communication style with the confidence to ask questions and identify issues
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
