Job summary

firstPRO 360 is seeking an AP Specialist in Atlanta, GA with a hybrid work arrangement (Mon, Fri remote). The role focuses on timely client bill payments, processing payables via multiple channels, and maintaining accurate cash flow for accounts. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field and prior AP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Prior experience in Accounts Payable.
• Small company experience preferred.
• Must pass credit check, education verification, criminal background check, and drug test.
• Professional and discrete; able to handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the clients’ bills are paid in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process clients’ accounts payable, including payments by check, ACH/Wire and online payments.
• Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Ensure adequate funds are available to cover any client cash needs.
• Serve as main point of contact for vendor communications.
• Process client payroll on a weekly basis ensuring the disbursement of funds is timely and accurate.
• Issue and maintain the annual 1099s.
