Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead day-to-day AP operations across the U.S., international, and corporate entities within a fast-growing organization. The role combines leadership with hands-on AP responsibilities and a clear path toward an Accounts Payable Manager position.

You will mentor an AP Analyst team, review invoices and journal entries, manage vendor relationships, and drive process improvements while supporting month-end close and reporting

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting and/or accounts payable experience.
• 5 years of leadership experience in management.
• Experience with multi-entity and international organizations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices.
• Experience with journal entries and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounts payable operations across U.S., international, and corporate entities.
• Directly supervise and mentor a team of Accounts Payable Analysts.
• Review and approve invoices, payment processing, and vendor reconciliations.
• Ensure timely processing of high-volume accounts payable transactions.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment-related issues.
• Prepare and review journal entries and related accounting transactions.
• Support month-end close activities and ensure policy compliance.
• Drive process improvements and scalable AP solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve AP processes as the organization grows.
• Monitor AP metrics and assist with reporting and analytics.
• Provide hands-on support during peak workloads and deadlines.
• Assist with ERP enhancements and workflow optimization.

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Accounts Payable Supervisor to support a rapidly growing organization within the construction and data center industry. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing day-to-day AP operations across U.S., international, and corporate entities while driving process improvements, vendor management initiatives, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• 30% Leadership | 70% Hands-On
• Oversee daily accounts payable operations across U.S., international, and corporate business units.
• Directly supervise and mentor a team of Accounts Payable Analysts.
• Review and approve invoices, payment processing activities, and vendor account reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume accounts payable transactions.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve escalated payment-related issues.
• Prepare and review journal entries and related accounting transactions.
• Support month-end close activities and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Drive process improvements, operational efficiencies, and scalable AP solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance accounts payable processes as the organization continues to grow.
• Monitor AP metrics and assist with reporting and analytical efforts.
• Provide hands-on support during peak workloads and critical business deadlines.
• Assist with ERP enhancements and workflow optimization initiatives.

Salary range: 65-85K

Skills and Requirements

• Experience within the construction, infrastructure, or data center industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of accounting and/or accounts payable experience.
• 5 years of leadership experience in Management
• Proven experience managing and developing accounts payable professionals.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable best practices.
• Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
• Pivot Tables
• VLOOKUPs
• Data analysis and reporting
• NetSuite experience required.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting large-scale projects and high-volume operations. Experience with Coupa.
• Experience with Procore.
• Experience supporting multi-entity and/or international organizations.
• Experience leading process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
