YES Prep Public Schools seeks a Teacher for a 10-month role in Houston, TX. Starting salary is $64,000 annually with the TIA incentive potential reaching $102,800. The district supports career growth, coaching, and differentiated development for high performers.

Role includes rigorous lesson planning, data-driven student growth, and collaboration with content teams. A Bachelor’s degree and Texas educator certification are required or in-progress.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university (THECB approved).
• Texas Educator Certification, or willingness to join ACP to get certified.
• Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology.
• Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Develop rigorous lessons in your content area for 1:1 blended learning environments.
• Set ambitious goals with students and monitor their progress with frequent feedback.
• Track student growth and create growth plans with coaches when needed for achievement concerns.
• Build relationships with students and families through regular communication via phone, video, email, or district websites.
• Create classroom environments conducive to learning and development.
• Collaborate with co-planner to align daily lesson plans and resources to student needs.
• Meet deadlines for lesson plans, grades, and work samples.
• Work with a team of teachers and leaders to ensure consistency, support, and accountability.
