Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking dedicated teachers to help students master academics and social skills necessary for college success. The role emphasizes rigorous material delivery, data-driven lesson planning, and ongoing professional development.

You will implement IDEA curricula, track progress, and communicate weekly with families while contributing to a positive campus culture. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided along with stipends for certifications and after-school

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution.
• Experience in a K-12 classroom setting is strongly preferred.
• State certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments to meet ambitious academic expectations.
• Learn, master, and deliver content and grade level curriculum, core content objectives, and texts.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Implement formal and informal assessments to track each student’s progress and adjust plans accordingly.
• Communicate students’ progress with students and families weekly.
• Host tutoring sessions as needed and participate in weekly meetings and after-school duties.
