Micro Metals Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting team. This role processes vendor invoices, verifies data, and supports month-end closing with accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (associates preferred), 2+ years in accounts payable, strong Excel and accounting software skills, and excellent organization and communication abilities to maintain timely, accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of accounts payable or related experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
• Ability to process a high volume of transactions with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Verify invoice information, coding, and approvals.
• Enter invoices into the accounting system.
• Maintain organized accounts payable files and records.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies; communicate with vendors.
• Assist with payment processing and check runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and identify outstanding items.
• Support month-end closing activities as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Follow company policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Provide administrative support to the Accounting department.

This position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial records while supporting the overall efficiency of our accounting operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Verify invoice information, coding, and approvals
• Enter invoices into the accounting system
• Maintain organized accounts payable files and records
