Job summary

American Express seeks an Accounts Payable (AP) Automation Sales Manager to drive deals by partnering with Sales, Marketing, and internal teams. You will source, qualify, present, and ramp AP software solutions while maintaining strong client relationships and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, pipeline management, and delivering value through AP/ERP expertise, with up to 10% travel and a strong emphasis on teamwork and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in a direct client facing role with commercial customers.
• Experience partnering with clients across various markets and industries.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry is a plus.
• Ability to understand complex technology and articulate it in simple terms.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and build a pipeline with internal partners to generate opportunities.
• Manage a pipeline from sourcing to closing and convert leads to deals.
• Develop client solutions and coordinate with product and marketing teams.
• Ensure compliance with the American Express Code of Conduct and regulatory requirements.
