Job summary

GNCO, Inc. in Independence, OH seeks a Manager of Accounts Payable & Receivable to lead a high-performing team and optimize AP/AR operations. The role oversees vendor payments, employee expenses, credit functions, and the use of SAP Concur and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in accounting/finance with ERP experience, strong leadership, and a track record of process improvement. Excellent communication and project-management skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Experience leading AP/AR teams and shared services.
• Experience with ERP/expense management systems; Dynamics BC and SAP Concur preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team; foster a values-based culture.
• Oversee AP: vendor payments, expenses, and process efficiency.
• Oversee AR and credit functions; improve collections and DSO.
• Ensure timely invoice processing and billing lifecycle visibility.
• Manage systems: Dynamics BC and SAP Concur; align to business needs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Service to resolve issues.
• Develop strategies to improve cash application and workflows.
• Identify process improvements to reduce costs and boost service.
• Maximize vendor rebates and automation opportunities.
• Set KPIs and reports; maintain confidentiality of financial data.
