Job summary

Springwell is seeking a full-time AP Accountant to be an integral member of a Finance Team within a growing agency. The compensation range for this role is $60,000 to $65,000.

The AP Accountant will perform record keeping, billing, data entry and accounts payable, report to the accounting manager, assist with general ledger activities, and help streamline accounting practices. Flexibility for remote/telecommute options is available after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or General Ledger experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 1-3 years' accounting experience.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaborative work style.
• Working knowledge of Excel.
• A reliable car, current driver's license and safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of functions related to record keeping, billing, data entry and accounts payable.
• Report to the accounting manager and assist with general ledger activities while helping to streamline accounting practices.
• Perform month-end tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, process invoices, coordinate payments, prepare schedules, and provide backup for year-end audit.
• Manage petty cash, credit, and debit cards.
• Possess a positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
