Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Operations Associate II (AOI Machine Operator) in Camden on the 9/80 schedule. The role focuses on operating AOI machines to inspect PCBs and assemblies, performing soldering/desoldering, and maintaining high quality through documentation and continuous improvement.

Must have 2+ years AOI experience and US citizenship. The position requires detailed inspection, adherence to BOMs, and the ability to work on 9/80 shifts with potential security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating AOI machines or similar inspection equipment.
• Proven experience repairing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies and PCBs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and repair defects.

Responsibilities

• Operate AOI machines to inspect PCBs and electronic assemblies for defects such as poor solder joints, missing components, and incorrect placements.
• Inspect and verify product conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards using AOI machines.
• Identify and document non-conformances and collaborate with quality and production teams to resolve issues.
• Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation of findings.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance product quality and reduce production costs.
• Perform soldering, desoldering, and rework of SMT components using precision tools and techniques.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective SMT products or components as necessary.
• Record and report production data into SAP.
• Follow all safety and quality control procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
