Job summary

L.K. Jordan & Associates is seeking an AOI Inspector for SMT manufacturing to inspect PCB/board assemblies, verify component placement, polarity, solder quality and defects. Set up and operate AOI machines, adjust programs to reduce false calls, and troubleshoot production issues.

The candidate should have 2–4 years of AOI/SMT inspection experience, ability to read prints and schematics, and soldering experience with IPC-A-610 knowledge preferred.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of AOI/SMT inspection experience preferred
• Experience setting up and operating AOI equipment
• Ability to read prints, drawings, and schematics
• Knowledge of SMT processes and PCB components
• Soldering experience and IPC-A-610 knowledge preferred
• Good computer skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to identify resistor values and distinguish colors
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and overtime as needed
