Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Malabar, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Technician B to perform inspection of circuit card assemblies using AOI equipment to verify workmanship and manufacturing requirements.

You will operate, monitor, and support AOI systems to detect placement issues, solder defects, and other nonconformances. The role involves reviewing results, documenting findings, following work instructions, and assisting with basic AOI troubleshooting to maintain workflow and product

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of related experience or 2 years post-secondary with 0–2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

Performs inspection of circuit card assemblies using AOI equipment to verify compliance with workmanship standards and manufacturing requirements.
Operates, monitors, and supports AOI systems used to detect component placement issues, solder defects, polarity errors, missing parts, and other visible assembly nonconformances.
Reviews inspection results, identifies straightforward defects, documents findings, and escalates discrepancies as needed.
Works from work instructions, inspection criteria, drawings, and applicable quality standards.
May assist with basic troubleshooting of AOI equipment, recipe verification, and production support activities to maintain workflow and product quality.
