Job summary

Innova Solutions in Malabar, FL is seeking an Engineering Technician for a 12-month contract, 2nd shift (3:30 PM-2:00 AM) on-site. The role involves inspecting circuit card assemblies with AOI equipment to ensure workmanship and manufacturing standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have AOI knowledge, circuit soldering experience, and a high school diploma with relevant experience. This is a W-2 position with pay range $27-$30/hr and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years relevent experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associates with 0–2 years related experience.
• Experience with AOI and circuit soldering is desirable.
• W-2 employment status required.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspection of circuit card assemblies using AOI equipment to verify workmanship and manufacturing requirements.
• Operates, monitors and supports AOI systems to detect placement issues, solder defects, polarity errors, missing parts and other nonconformances.
• Reviews inspection results, documents findings and escalates discrepancies as needed.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of AOI equipment, recipe verification, and production support to maintain workflow and quality.
• Follow instructions, inspection criteria, drawings and applicable quality standards.
