Mercury Systems, Inc. is seeking a quality inspector to perform in-process visual verification of electronic assemblies for aerospace and defense applications. You will provide real-time feedback to operators, document discrepancies, and help ensure production readiness on a fast-paced line.

The role requires IPC-A-610/IPC-J-STD-001 certifications, soldering with a microscope, and experience with Koh Young AOI equipment. Collaboration with the team is essential to maintain quality.

Qualifications

• IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 certifications required
• Experience performing hand soldering on complexPCBs
• Ability to communicate real-time feedback to operators

Responsabilités

• Perform in-process visual verification of electronic assemblies
• Ensure quality at production line level using spot-inspection and 1st-piece verification
• Verify compliance with BOM, customer specs, and IPC standards
• Document discrepancies and maintain records accurately
• Escalate systemic issues to Lead/QA/Engineering
• Conduct regular quality line-audits and ensure tooling and consumables meet requirements
• Advocate proper ESD, PPE, and FOD prevention
• Operate Koh Young AOI equipment and solder under microscope when required
