Cherokee Accelerated Solutions, part of Cherokee Federal, seeks an AOC/IOC-AS Senior Instructor/Content Developer to design and deliver training materials that support intelligence goals. You will build curricula, maintain training records, and collaborate with course managers and working groups to evolve course material across the IOC-AS program.

The role requires extensive Army intelligence experience, instructor credentials, proficiency with DCGS-A/DIS tools, and a TS/SCI clearance.

2+ years as an instructor on the DCGS-A or DIS system
Graduate of ABIC or equivalent Intelligence Community instructor course

Responsibilities

Coordinate with the AOC/ IOC-AS Course Manager and Working Group for course changes and updates; synchronize and nest course material.
Manage hands-on day-to-day instruction and delivery of IOC-AS courses.
Create course content based on inputs from Course Manager and Working Group.
Maintain lesson plans, practical exercises, testable material, and SOPs.
Assist in developing, executing, updating, and evolving IOC-AS training trajectory courses.

Position Summary:

AOC/IOC-AS Senior Instructor/Content Developer Develops, maintains, and / or delivers training material to drive intelligence goals, objectives, tradecraft, and standards. Provides lesson plans / presentations / curricula in support of educational goals and maintains materiel within the assigned educational system (i.e. AGILE, Training Development Capability (TDC), etc.). Reviews emerging policy and doctrine publications, provides feedback, and assesses for incorporation into training products. Develops / maintains training records and tracking systems as required or designated by the Government.

Starting Salary Range for AOC/IOC-AS Senior Instructor/Content Developer:Pay commensurate with experience.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

Includes the following:

Conduct coordination with the AOC/ IOC-AS Course Manager and the All Source Working Group members for all aspects of IOC-AS course changes and updates; responsible for the synchronization and nesting of course material associated with the training trajectory courses for AOC-AS.
Manages the hands on, day-to-day accountability of AOC/ IOC-AS courses instruction and delivery.
Create course content based on AOC-AS Course Manager and Working Group inputs.
Accountable for creating, editing, managing, and maintaining lesson plans, practical exercises, testable material (test bank), full Training Support Packages (TSPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Work directly with the AOC-AS Course Manager and the 353T/35T Working Group members to assess current and future course material.
Assists in the development, execution, updates, and continual evolution of the IOC-AS training trajectory courses through working groups, emerging technologies and AAR reviews.
Accountable for instructing, providing instruction assistance, and appropriate scenario development for all courses under the IOC-AS.
Coordinate and facilitate training and instruction in large and small group settings with units across the enterprise.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: (Basic Qualifications)

Support exercises and training in a variety of instructional environments to include classrooms, MTT locations (requires travel to external customer/military sites), video-teleconferences, virtual training sessions, team teaching environments, and collective active learning environments.
Minimum twelve (12) years of Army Military Intelligence experience and experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
Minimum of 12 years as an MOS 35F (All-Source Analyst) DCGS-A or DIS All-Source Analyst or equivalent experience as an All-Source Analyst on DCGS-A or DIS spanning MICO, BCT, DIV-Corps level echelons.
Minimum of 2 years as an instructor on the DCGS-A or DIS system.
Graduate of the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) or equivalent Intelligence Community instructor course (i.e., NGA College, NSA ADET, etc.)
Proficiency in DCGS-A or DIS software applications.
Must be a US Citizen.
This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving about the office for extended periods.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Work is performed primarily in a climate-controlled environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Must attend and graduate DISFC, GEP, and DISMGC within 12 months
In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Instructor/Content Developer activities required to meet mission requirements
Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings
Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced
Ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines
Ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence
Ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems
