Job summary

Advocates Legal Recruiting is seeking a midlevel Antitrust Associate for a nationally recognized AmLaw 100 client. The role spans antitrust litigation, investigations, and merger work across the United States with offices in Seattle, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Chicago, and Washington, DC.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of antitrust experience, a JD from a top law school, and admission or eligibility in the relevant jurisdiction.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of antitrust experience, ideally blending litigation and counseling.
• JD from a top law school and admission or eligibility to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong research and writing skills, with experience drafting motions, briefs, or memos.
• Experience with discovery management and coordinating with economists is a plus.
• Familiarity with antitrust and unfair competition laws under federal and state regimes.

Responsibilities

• Litigation in federal and state courts, including class actions and competitor suits.
• Government investigations and agency advocacy before DOJ/FTC.
• Counseling on pricing, distribution, joint ventures, and other competition issues.
• HSR analysis and Second Request support for transactions.
• Collaborate with partners and clients across offices.
