Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s in anthropology or archaeology; or Bachelor’s in either and Master’s in sociology, biological sciences, forensic sciences, genetics or paleontology.
• A valid California Community College Credential; or equivalency.
• Equivalency petition required if degrees do not match exactly.

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of anthropology courses as assigned.
• Use diverse teaching methods and technology for face‑to‑face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff.
• Maintain syllabi, records, and timely grading/evaluations.
• Fulfill duties as required by Administrative Regulation 7122.
