Responsibilities

• Teach sociology in a variety of instructional settings and times, including evenings and weekends, online or off-campus as needed.
• Use diverse pedagogies and technology for face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students and maintain appropriate classroom records and grading.
• Develop course syllabi and align with department curricula and outcomes.
• Evaluate student progress through tests, assignments and exams, per course objectives.
