Endeavor Health is seeking an Antepartum Registered Nurse for night shift at Evanston IL. This full-time role (36 hours/week) offers hourly pay and a $25,000 sign-on bonus for candidates with 18 months of Antepartum experience. Work hours are 1900–0730 with weekend rotations and potential float to postpartum.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care that identifies interventions to achieve expected outcomes and evaluates progress
• Performs patient assessment and health data collection with patient, family, and other health care providers
• Communicates the plan of care to patient and family, and to physician and interdisciplinary team; documents health data and communications
• Provides patient and family teaching tailored to learning needs; assesses cultural background and learning barriers
• Interacts with peers and others to support clinical education; may assign or delegate tasks
• Nurtures a compassionate environment by providing psychological support
• Assists technical staff with injections, venipuncture, drug administration, oxygen therapy, and IV management
• Participates in performance improvement and nursing research; stays current with practice trends
• Conducts rounds for wound/ostomy/skin care when skilled; monitors treatment effectiveness
• Complies with HIPAA regulations
• Assists in transporting acutely ill patients
