Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an Antepartum RN for the night shift at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. This full-time role (36 hours/week) runs 1900–0730 with weekend rotation and may float to postpartum units. A sign-on bonus of $25,000 is available for candidates with 18 months of Antepartum experience.

The RN will deliver safe, compassionate nursing care, collaborate with the clinical team, and participate in care plan development, patient education, and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Antepartum experience required and nursing assessment skills preferred.
• Strong patient communication and collaboration with healthcare team.
• Active RN license and current practice in Illinois or eligible to practice in IL.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care that identifies interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
• Evaluates patient progress toward outcomes and updates diagnoses and plans as needed.
• Communicates plan of care to patient and family and to the physician and team.
• Individualizes patient education based on assessment of learning needs and cultural background.
• Interacts with peers and supports professional development of staff.
• Provide psychological support and maintain a compassionate environment.
• Assist in clinical tasks such as injections, venipuncture, and IV management.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and nursing research.
• Conducts daily rounds of wound/ostomy/skin care when skilled, and monitors effectiveness.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations and patient safety standards.
• Assist in transporting acutely ill patients as needed.
