Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Staff Technician to test and troubleshoot antennas and support development on indoor and outdoor ranges in McKinney, TX. This onsite role requires working with diverse electronic equipment and following established procedures.

The candidate will observe data, report results, manage configurations, and mentor junior technicians while contributing to a secure and efficient test environment. A Secret clearance is required for start date. Relocation benefits are not offered.

Qualifications

• Typically requires an AA/AS degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in electronics industry or equivalent military electronics experience.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoots antennas.
• Operate a variety of electronic equipment.
• Observe, analyze and report test data.
• Assist in the development of procedures.
• Utilize various engineering drawings, manuals and other related documentation in the performance of their tasks.
• Configuration/data management.
• Check for work correctness.
• Be responsible for training/mentoring junior range technicians.
