Job summary

The Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan is seeking an Annual Giving and Stewardship Officer to advance fundraising goals. You will draft solicitation letters, manage annual giving initiatives, and coordinate donor recognition and stewardship activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years in fundraising or similar environment.
• Experience managing complex data using Excel with relational databases/CRMs and reporting tools (DART, Salesforce, Tableau, BO).
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with donors, faculty, staff, students, or similar constituencies.

Responsibilities

• Draft solicitation letters for annual appeals and help manage ISR's annual giving programs.
• Design and execute stewardship programs, process gifts, and coordinate donor communications.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track fundraising progress and donor engagement.
• Plan and execute development events and manage logistics.
• Provide project management and administrative support to ISR’s Office of Development.
