Job summary

Seneca is seeking a Director of Annual Giving in California to design, execute, and optimize a comprehensive annual giving program that grows unrestricted revenue and builds a pipeline for major and planned gifts. You will lead multi-channel campaigns, data-driven donor segmentation, and stewardship efforts to improve donor acquisition, retention, and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive fundraising experience with focus on annual giving.
• Alignment with Seneca’s mission and values.
• Strong knowledge of fundraising best practices and donor engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong base of philanthropic support through annual and mid-level donors (> $10,000).
• Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-channel annual giving plan and appeal strategy.
• Lead all annual fund campaigns (End of Year, Giving Tuesday, monthly giving, special appeals).
• Build data-driven, segmented campaigns for new, renewing, mid-level, upgrade and lapsed donors.
• Set revenue, acquisition, retention, upgrade, engagement goals and report KPIs.
