Lincoln Electric in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a Strand Annealing Operator to set up, run, and monitor stainless steel and nickel annealing lines in a high-volume production environment. You will maintain process parameters, track quality, and ensure safety and environmental compliance.

The role requires basic math, strong attention to specifications, and the ability to work with team members across maintenance, quality, and production to meet output goals.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Manufacturing or industrial production experience preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to understand and follow specifications, procedures, and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter production data.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate or become qualified to operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely.
• Ability to work independently with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsabilidades

• Operate annealing lines in accordance with procedures and production requirements.
• Set up and string-up annealing lines from WIP reel payoff through the take-up stem.
• Change WIP reels and stems to maintain continuous production flow.
• Monitor speeds, temperatures, pre-coat concentrations, and acid concentrations per specifications and work instructions.
• Maintain annealing tubes, pre-coat systems, and acid cleaning equipment in proper operating condition.
• Identify and correct equipment or process issues that may impact product quality, safety, or productivity.
• Enter and maintain accurate production, quality, and traceability information within company systems.
• Review, understand, and comply with applicable specifications, procedures, work instructions, and departmental requirements.
• Move materials to designated inventory and storage locations while maintaining organization and product segregation.
• Report mechanical, electrical, quality, and safety concerns through established reporting processes.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality personnel to support safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Assist with cross-training and development of team members within the annealing area.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and follow all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's business objectives.
