Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc in Waterbury, CT is seeking an Annealing Operator to run and monitor strip annealing furnaces, loading and unloading coils, perform quality checks, and maintain production logs to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards. This on-site role is on the 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm) with weekly pay and an hourly wage range of $30.20 to $31.20.

Candidates must read and write English, follow safety rules, and be mechanically adept.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English and maintain production records/logs.
• Excellent decision-making and organizational skills.
• Mechanically inclined; comfortable using hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Wear PPE and follow safety rules.
• Read, understand and follow Work Instructions and SOPs.
• Detect and report faulty operations and material.
• Maintain equipment and work area in clean/ordered condition.
• Set up and operate Strip Annealing Equipment; monitor parameters.
• Move material using forklifts/cranes/pallet jacks and supervise helpers.
• Become proficient in Wieland Factory Suite (WFS).
