Elmet Technologies in Euclid, Ohio is hiring a Machine Operator for annealing on the 2nd shift. You will load materials, set up times/temps, record data, and help maintain equipment and safety standards. This hands-on role offers competitive pay and strong benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and willingness to learn a specialized manufacturing process.
• Comfortable with basic arithmetic and following written specs.
• Focus on time, temperature, material identification and process details.

Responsibilities

• Load material onto the mesh belt annealer per production instructions.
• Set up work based on required annealing times and temperatures.
• Record material type, ingot number, production order, time, and temperature in the annealing log.
• Unload finished material and enter production information into the computer system.
• Weigh material and maintain production records.
• Load and unload the roller hearth annealer.
• Process finished products for flattening and stress-relief annealing.
• Record material width and length when required.
• Wash material from tension mills and other orders.
• Use lift equipment to move material safely.
• Follow safety, quality and ISO procedures.
• Monitor process and how changes affect the product.
• Work with Maintenance to keep equipment safe and efficient.
• Identify preventive maintenance needs.
