Job summary

Atlanta Humane Society is seeking an energetic Community and Animal Ambassador to answer a multi-line phone system, share information on our services and Remedy policies, and counsel callers with empathy.

In this role you will handle inquiries, schedule appointments, and assist with on-site activities while supporting our mission to advance animal welfare. A high school diploma is required and a customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in a call-center or customer service environment preferred.
Ability to handle emotional conversations with empathy and professionalism.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain policies clearly.

Responsibilities

Answer multi-line phone system providing information on AHS services and policies.
Counsel callers on animal welfare, relinquishment, adoption, and Remedy policies.
Manage general inquiry emails and route to appropriate resources.
Schedule appointments through online systems and maintain records.
Identify priority issues and communicate with staff and management.
Support special projects as needed and assist with on-site activities.
