Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; supervision/management experience in an animal care facility preferred.
• Experience supervising animal care staff and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of animal care standards, record-keeping, and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of animal care staff in vivaria.
• Train and mentor staff; participate in performance evaluations.
• Maintain animal room logs, census, breeding, and technical service records.
• Assist in facility inspections and QA program management.
• Support compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
