Qualifications

• Six months customer service experience in an office or retail setting preferred.
• Six months experience in an animal shelter, veterinary hospital or clinic preferred.
• Computer literacy in Windows required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with adoption information and guidance.
• Complete adoption paperwork and generate receipts.
• Maintain animal records in the animal management database.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve goals.
• Maintain a clean front counter and counseling rooms at all times.
• Support travel to other AHS locations and departments.
