Job summary

CAA seeks a Client Service Specialist to serve as the main contact for the public via in-person, phone, and email interactions. The role involves learning extensive policies, accurate data entry, and hands-on animal care during admission and adoption processes.

The ideal candidate is welcoming, confident, and resourceful, with strong communication skills and the ability to read animal behavior. Familiarity with Petpoint and adoption platforms is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide kind, efficient client service via in-person, phone, and email interactions.
• Advise on adoption discounts and programs (military, senior, staff).
• Counsel public on animal care, housing, and medical responsibilities per SOPs.
• Schedule veterinary and spay/neuter appointments using Petpoint.
• Maintain accurate adoption advertisements and data entry.
